Rules, Regulations and Disciplinary Policies
Extra work, writing assignments, initial 30-day extension, or loss of privileges may be utilized as disciplinary measures for any resident exhibiting behavior contrary to the rules or program policies.
Purpose of Disciplinary Action
1. To develop discipline and self-control spiritually, mentally, physically, and socially.
2. To instill respect for authority, others, and self.
3. To keep major problems to a minimum.
4. To nurture and develop desirable character qualities while eliminating bad attitudes and harmful actions.
5. To develop maturity in forming meaningful adult relationships.
6. To keep harmful attitudes to a minimum.
7. To allow time for reflection on disciplinary problems and to seek solutions to these problems.
8. To develop Christ like responses to disciplinary action.
The following extreme behavioral problems or rule infractions may result in immediate dismissal:
A. Unruly behavior (horseplay) resulting in injury or destruction of property, accidental or otherwise – 1 Chance will be given
B. Use of any tobacco – 0 Chances will be given
C. Failure to accept disciplinary action – 1 Chance will be given
D. Threats of bodily harm Possible mental investigation – 0 chances
E. Physical fighting – 0 Chances
F. Destruction of property – 1 Chance
K. Insubordination – 3 Chances
L. Inappropriate sexual activity – 0 Chances
Eagle Christian Ministries strives for progress not perfection, but there is still no room for dishonesty or gossip, should someone be found to be consistently misleading, lying to the administration/staff, or displaying character regarded as less than brotherly he will be ejected from the program.
The administration reserves the right to vary from these guidelines if deemed necessary.
